The audition pieces will change when the script is finalised, so you do not need to learn them for the auditions!
We are sending the pieces so you can familiarise yourself with the content.
This year we are including some music choices for you to consider prior to the auditions:
Cross the Line (from BIG the musical) - This will be our opening number and will most likely be sung by the Company, so please learn it for the group singing audition. In addition, for auditions purposes, we would like to hear it sung as a solo piece for Prince Harry auditionees.
Journey To the Past (from Anastasia - the musical) - This will be sung by Snow White, therefore anyone auditioning for the role will be asked to sing this song.
(Death is )Just Around the Corner (from The Addams Family - the musical) - Grizelda will be leading this number, therefore anyone auditioning for the part will be asked to sing it. Air Hostess (by Busted) - This will be the Dame's number, therefore anyone auditioning for the role will be asked to sing this song.
Once again, the words to these songs will be adapted! It is more for the panel to hear your tone/pitch/tuning.
We are restricted time-wise for our auditions, so please be punctual!
We shall start the auditions with a warm up followed by a group dance audition; everyone in the show will be dancing at some point, so we need to see you strut your stuff!! Don't be frightened though, it will be very basic choreography.
A few of you have been in touch to say you cannot attend either audition. If this applies to you, but you are still keen to take part, please let Jane know your availability between the audition dates (15th to 25th June) as soon as possible at BACCES@hotmail.co.uk
